Diamond Platnumz has finally released his first project of the year featuring Mr.Blue and Jay Melody titled Mapoz. After 20 years Diamond Platnumz decided to give a creative twist to Mapozi, a song that was initially released by Mr Blue back in 2004. Mapozi by Mr. Blue was a rap song where he described a situation of him being in love however he instead got rejected because he did not have money. With this new rendition, the artists describe an experience of unconditional love they are receiving from their partner. Jay Melody introduces the song starting off with a well written verse and his captivating vocals. Simba adds on to the song bringing his prowess with the the amazing vocals while Mr. Blue finishes off with his creative flow. The combination of the three artist is exceptionally good as they all blend so well on the song. With the beat S2kizzy delivers as usual giving the listener a taste of an urban coastal sound that’s more like listening to modern taarabu.
