Late Zambian Musician Daev Shines on Mdundo Top 10 Weekly Chart

XYZ’s Daev Zambia, a promising Zambian artiste may be gone but his legacy will live on forever even with his death. A musical icon he was; David Phiri alias Daev Zambia had made a name for himself in the industry through hard work, determination and focus.
Daev died on Sunday in a tragic accident along Chirundu–Kafue road at Red Paint area. He was in the company of his three friends in his Toyota Vitz which crashed and caught fire.
He was extensively burnt according to police sources which led to his death. However, when the late Daev could still breathe, he made great music which earned his fame, and respect.

Following his death, fans streamed and downladed his songson Mdundo, making him the top artist in Zambia’s Mdundo Top 10 chart.
In the last couple of weeks, Zambia did not have any of its jams on the top ten list, with foreign songs dominating the chart. However, for the love of Daev, he had eight of his tracks make it to the top 10 list, some as old as two years ago.
