This jam officially introduced him to the music scene and Mikie Wine can't be more proud of the awards; both local and international that Eddy Kenzo has won since then.

The pair parted ways with Eddy Kenzo forming his own music group. Despite the reports that they fell out bitterly and not in talking terms, Mikie Wine recently dismissed the claims noting that they are still friends and brothers.

"However much we all go astray, I call him direct when I want to advise him and point it out as it is. I can't blame confront him in the media because I was not raised like that. But I call him personally and he does the same,” he divulged.

Responding to a question regarding Eddy Kenzo's huge success, Mikie Wine said Eddy Kenzo has been able to achieve milestones he was not able to hit, and as such, he is suoer proud of him.

"The musical awards that I have not been able to scoop, Eddy Kenzo won them for me. So if he has a BET in his home that means that I also have a BET at my home,” he said.
