BABYLON [Feat. Victony] Review

Nigeria’s dancehall king Patoranking, is back with a new dancehall song Babylon featuring Victony and it is redefining the term lit in every sense. The tune starts off with captivating vocals from Victony followed by an intriguing beat drop that makes you want to whine from the moment you hear it. Back and forth was the choice of delivery for this song as both Patoranking and Victony engage in the verses, each bring their own unique sound to the track but still managing to make the song more enjoyable. The song is the ninth track off Patoranking’s fourth studio album World’s Best which was released later this year. As much as Babylon feels like a feel goods tune with the catchy beat that is a vibe the lyrics present a theme of struggle, perseverance and longing for better days.
