His three goals took his tally for the club to 309 goals, overtaking Alfredo Di Stefano's 308.

Benzema's 309 goals will ensure that he is always remembered at the club, putting tha first he scored on September 20, 2009.

Benzema now has 30 goals this term, just one fewer than the whole of last season and two shy of his best goalscoring campaign - 2011/12 when he scored 32 under Jose Mourinho.
