All the top five teams in the FKF Premier League will be back on the pitch on Wednesday 21st March. The teams will once again battle for the crucial three points as the league's standings begin to take shape. Currently, Gor Mahia is leading the league with 42 points, followed by KCB with 37 points, Tusker FC with 36 points, Police with 35 points, and finally AFC Leopards with 35 points.

Gor Mahia will have a date with 18th-placed Vihiga Bullets. This might be a walk in the park for K'Ogalo as Vihiga Bullets who are starring at a possible relegation have not managed to secure even a single win in their last five matches. Gor Mahia's main objective is to widen the gap in points with other teams and strengthen its leadership of the league. Johnathan McKinstry's side was previously held to a goalless draw by KCB.

KCB, on the other hand, will have a tough assignment against Kakamega Homeboyz. The last five matches have not yielded optimum results for the bankers and therefore this match will be extremely crucial in determining whether they will redeem themselves or not. KCB has recorded only 2 victories in the last five matches. Kakamega Homeboyz similarly has registered disappointing results in its last five matches. Both teams will be hungry for a victory as they fight to improve their standing in the league.

Tusker FC will play against 13th-placed Bidco United. The Brewers have displayed consistency in their performance for the last five matches. Tusker FC has not lost even a single match in the last five matches; a factor that saw the team constantly improve its position.

Police FC will face Sofapaka in the hope of earning three points that will give it a chance to jump to the third position. Police Fc also ranks among the top teams that have displayed consistent performance in the league. The team which will be returning from a heated draw with Nzoia Sugar will be in desperate need of three points to secure its spot in the top five teams.

Lastly, AFC Leopards will battle against Bandari FC in a quest of seeking a second consecutive win after beating Posta Rangers 1-0.
