Who is Dennis Oliech?

Dennis Oliech is a legendary Kenyan football icon. The former professional football player was born on February 2, 1985, in Nairobi, Kenya where he spent a better part of his childhood. Oliech discovered his talent and passion for football at a very young age. He consequently started sharpening his skills on the pitch while in primary school. The youngster had already made a name for himself at the completion of his secondary education.

When did Dennis Oliech start his Football Career?

Dennis Oliech started playing professional football at the age of 17 after being signed by Mathare United as a striker. It was not long before his talent and goal-scoring ability attracted the attention of various stakeholders in football. In 2003, he was signed by Al-Arabi Sports Club in Qatar, where he played for two seasons before moving to France to join Nantes FC.

During his time at Nantes FC, Oliech gained international recognition for his impressive performance. He scored his first goal for the team in his debut match against Ajaccio in 2005 and went on to become the top scorer for the club in the 2005-2006 season. He played for Nantes FC until 2007 when he was signed by AJ Auxerre, also in France.

At AJ Auxerre, Oliech continued with his impressive play, scoring 25 goals in 95 appearances for the club. He also helped the team reach the final of the Coupe de France in 2010, where they were defeated by Paris Saint-Germain.
