Award-winning Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo has been trending on social media over the past two weeks after his audio attacking Bobi Wine leaked online.

The leaked audio caused massive debate in the country with fellow artistes and netizens condemning Kenzo for his harsh words.

Following the massive criticism, Eddy Kenzo was forced to apologise to Bobi Wine, noting that he respects the artiste.

Away from the leaked audio, the Big Talent boss has time and again claimed he is not appreciated by Ugandans.

Speaking during a recent interview, Eddy Kenzo laid out possible reasons why he believes Ugandans dislike him.

Being the first BET Award winner in East Africa back in 2015, Eddy Kenzo believes people are against him because of his achievements and the fact that he is the first Ugandan that has hit many notable milestones.

"All those battles that people are fighting against me ever since I got my breakthroughs are because of everything I have; being the first in most of my recognition. I'm either the first Uganda, first East African or first African to do something in Uganda. What kills them is the word 'first',” he said.
