Kano state commissioner for health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa has confirmed that the state has recorded 100 suspected cases of diphtheria in 13 local governments. Speaking during a press conference to address the situation Dr Aminu revealed that out of the suspected cases eight were confirmed to have diphtheria and three persons have also been confirmed dead from the disease.
