Runtown alias Douglas Jack Agu is a singer, songwriter and producer from Nigeria. He was born on 19th August 1989 (31 Years Old). He focuses on R&B, ‎Afro-fusion‎, ‎hip-hop‎ and reggae. As of 2020, carmart.org estimated his net worth to be $1.5 million dollars

How did Runtown start his music career?

He made his music debut in 2007. Back then, he was not popular across the country. It took seven years for him to get his major breakthrough which came in 2014 after the release of his single ‘Gallardo’. The song made him famous and helped him build a name for himself in Naija. Thanks to ‘Gallardo’, he was noticed by the likes of Davido. Two years later (2016), he released ‘Mad Over You’ that took Nigeria and the entire African continent by storm. The song performed extremely well, with its climax being featured as the number 38 song on Billboard Twitter charts. Ever since, he has been releasing hit after hit and is currently considered one of the top artists in Nigeria and Africa. He has worked with several top artists that include; Nasty C, Phyno, Wizkid, Timaya, Bella Shmurda and Davido among others.
