Viola Davis is an African-American actress and producer, born in 1965 at St. Mathews, South Carolina. She is married to Actor, Julius Tennon.

Viola kicked off her career in 1996, when she starred in the popular show; NYPD Blue, however, she only got her taste of fame four years later when she played Nurse Lynnette Peeler in the City of Angels.
