"The last match of the opening group stage games was held last night starting off with Morocco versus Tanzania. Tanzania’s fans we’re hopeful of the odds being in their favor after winning a corner in the first half however that quickly changed after missing the shot and Morocco bringing their A game on. The first Moroccan goal was scored by Romain Saiis 30 minutes in. With the second half there was a slow start to it as Tanzania tried their best but were unsuccessful as Morocco managed to score two more goals bringing the game to an end with a score of three nil.DRC Congo and Zambia were up next in the field giving their fans a thrilling show as the opening round of the group matches came to a close. DRC made an early head start by dominating the initial stages of the game, but even with that Zambia gave it their all and scored their first goal after 23 minutes. This was followed by a goal from Yoane Wissa for the DRC team just four minutes after. The game ended on a draw score of 1. Today the second round of group games is set to begin as Equatorial Guinea take on Guinea Bissau while the host Ivory Coast is expected to take on Nigeria for the Group A teams.
