"Burkina Faso verses Mauritania was the first game of the fourth day of the AFCON tournament and the last of Group D. This was a tough match as both teams aggressively battled it out trying to get the lead. Bertrand Traore scored a stoppage time penalty for Burkina Faso claiming victory over Mauritania. Burkina Faso are ahead of the group with 3 points.The first game for Group E was between Tunisia and Namibia. Namibia came into the pitch all charged up ready to secure the goals while Tunisia did not let them have it easy. Eventually Namibia managed to score their first goal at the 89th minute of the game. This was definitely a proud moment for Deon Hotto and the whole Namibia team as this was their first win in their previous 3 appearances at AFCON.
Mali versus South Africa was the last match of the day and for Group E. Despite a very competitive first half with no scores from both teams, Mali managed to take the lead scoring in the first goal at the 60th minute. Bafana Bafana clearly had a tough opening night as Mali managed to score again ending the match at two nil claiming victory for Mali and the lead for group E."
