Burkina Faso had a chance with a penalty kick, but a missed shot sealed the game, finishing 2-0 in Mali's favor.Meanwhile, the clash between Morocco and South Africa began with South Africa missing an early opportunity. Morocco's solid defense held strong, making it challenging for South Africa to find the net in the first half. After halftime, South Africa roared back, scoring their first goal. In the 84th minute, Morocco had a chance to equalize with a penalty kick, but Archif Hakimi's miss proved costly. South Africa capitalized on a free kick, skillfully securing a second goal in extra time, sealing a 2-0 victory and advancing in the tournament.
