The Blue Sharks of Cape Verde showcased their superiority with a convincing 3-0 victory, a result that puts them in a strong position in the group. From the outset, Cape Verde took control of the game, with their aggressive pressing and quick transitions proving too much for Mozambique. The first goal came from a well-orchestrated move down the flank, culminating in a precise finish. Cape Verde's confidence grew, and they doubled their lead with a spectacular long-range effort sealing victory for the team.
