Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi has been suspended for two weeks after he took a trip to Saudi Arabia without proper authority from the team. Thus Messi will not play for the team in the next two games neither will he train with them.

According to reports Messi went to the Arab nation for his personal business.On the other hand, Messi is set to leave PSG by June 30 2023, when his contract expires.

Lionel’s father Jorge communicated the decision of the 35 year old not returning to Psg next season one month ago due to a new project that the player is on.. Apparently Messi is the tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia.

In his recent photos in twitter by Ahmed Al Khateeb, the Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia, Messi is seen having good time with his family. Quote “I am happy to welcome #Messi and his family to Saudi to enjoy the magical tourist destinations and authentic experiences.
“We welcome visitors from all around the world to experience a unique trip to Saudi Arabia and its hospitality.”

On his part, Messi himself promoted Saudi tourism four days ago on Instagram, writing, "Who knew Saudi had so much green?" I enjoy discovering its surprising beauties whenever I can. #visitsaudi.”
