Gor Mahia's domination of the FKF Premiere League is facing a threat from second-placed Tusker Fc and third-placed Nzoia Sugar Fc. K'Ogalo has led the premiere League table for weeks with no sign of giving up the top spot. The recent performance of the three teams has, however, placed the former premier league champions at risk of losing the first position.

As it stands, Gor Mahia has 53 points followed by Tusker Fc with 51 points and Nzoia Sugar with 48 points. The margin between Gor Mahia and Tusker Fc is extremely negligible given how stiff the competition in the premier league has become. All that Tusker Fc will now need is one victory to shoot to the top of the table. Given the fact that Tusker Fc has recorded consecutive victories in their last five matches, this might not be a hard task to achieve as they face 17th-placed Wazito Fc on April 19th.

Nzoia Sugar, on the other hand, might be five points away from Gor Mahia, but their performance graph makes them a significant threat. Salim Babu's side has displayed consistent performance in their recent games. Out of the last five matches they played in the league, Nzoia Sugar registered 4 wins with one draw. This is unlike Gor Mahia which managed only three victories and two draws. If the graph of Nzoia Sugar's performance maintains the upward trend, then it will only be a matter of time before they overtake K'Ogalo.

Johnathan Mc'Kinstry's boys will now have to be more careful and consistent with registering victories should they maintain the domination of the league.
