Renowned Tanzanian singer Harmonize has been a topic of discussion on social media platforms following his unique entrance at the Mkapa Stadium during the Yanga Day performance.
Donned in full military regalia, Harmonize entered the stadium using a zip-lining rope but fell while ascending to begin his performance.
However, through an Instagram live session, Harmonize stated that he did not fall as it was part of the act.
The ‘Bedroom’ singer tweaked the lyrics to the Yanga Song stating that people expected him to ascend the rope-like he was on a bicycle.

He noted that a section of people are motivated by jealousy to spread rumors about the incident.
“Wanaona donge...Konde akishuka na kamba wanaona donge...wanasambaza konde ameanguka, kamba haishukwi kama baisikeli...wanaona donge hao,” sings Harmonize.
During the event, after his fall, there was panic across the stadium when the singer appeared unresponsive for a few seconds.
Stewards had to rush to the scene to confirm if he was fined. He later held an electrifying show performing his chart-topping hits.
