"The Kenyan music scene in 2023 was vibrant with Kenyan artists flying our flag higher than before blessing us with awesome tunes and amazing collaborations. This was the same year we got to see our RnB artists performing on Colors studio while others were featured on The Rolling Stones list of best Afropop songs of 2023. We expect nothing short this year so get ready to jam as we list down some of the Kenyan artists on our 2024 radar.
1.Maya Amolo was recently featured on the Spotify Colors collaboration and we just can’t get enough of her (see what I did there).
2.Kinoti with the voice has been teasing us with EPs and we hope that this is the year he gifts his fans one solid album.
3.Vijana Barubaru have been active in the Kenyan music scene for a minute but their track Sasa Hivi went viral making them even more popular and they haven’t looked back since then.
4.Sabi Wu. The Kenyan rapper’s song was featured on the rolling stone list of best Afropop songs of 2023 so he’s going to be on our watchlist

6.Brandy Maina has been consistent in her musical journey and we can’t wait to see how this year unfolds for her.
7.Wanjine serenades us with his lovely voice and hopefully that will continue in 2024.
8.Sofya Nzau went viral with the song Mwaki and we are hoping that the fire won’t die down.
9.Bien started his solo career by dropping a no skips album giving his fans a taste of what’s in store for them. Someone please tell him we’re ready for the next one.
10.The likes of Kappy, Gody Tenor, YBW smith have been making waves with their genre which could be the next big thing.
