Chike Reveals Title of Two Tracks off His Upcoming Sophomore Album

Fast-rising Nigerian singer Chike has now revealed the titles of two singles housed in his second studio album expected to be released in the next few months.

Chike who released his highly-acclaimed debut album ‘Boo of the Booless’ in January 2020 has now embarked on working on a second project.

In a post on his official Twitter handle, Chike shared the track titles of the untitled sophomore album.

The 28-year-old singer who started his music career in 2009 after winning an award as the vocalist of the year in his high school had a largely successful 2020 that saw his ‘Boo of the Booless’ album get a number of nominations including The Headies.

The 14-track album has been described as ‘a mesmerizing take on romance, fusing R&B with Igbo and Pidgin’.

Chike has been doing refixes to singles off the album and recently released a refix for the single ‘Running (To You)’ in which he featured songstress Simi – a follow-up to the ‘If You Know Love’ refix that he teamed up with Afropop star Mayorkun.

Officially known as Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, CHIKE is a singer, songwriter and actor known for his participation on the Nigerian reality competition Project Fame West Africa in 2015 and also in the talent competition TV show The Voice Nigeria Season 1 in which he finished runner-up.
