Disappointed Aslay Speaks on Fake Death Reports

Tanzanian singer Aslay has come out to strongly condemn reports circulating online regarding his death.

This is after social media posts and videos went viral stating that the singer had passed away in a nasty accident.

Through his Instagram account, Aslay stated that it was heartbreaking for fellow humans to make up such stories especially related to death.

He condemned bloggers for spreading fake news on people who have been working hard to entertain fans.

“Inasikitisha na kushangaza sana unawezaje kumzushia mwanadamu mwenzako kifo na mabaya mengi. Wanaofanya hivi ni Watanzania wa kawaida kama sisi ambao tulitamani watupe habari na burudani na wao wapate riziki, lakini wako bize kutupotosha na hata kuharibu majina yetu,” posted Aslay.

Aslay further called on authorities to investigate the incident and apprehend those responsible.

“Nawaomba sana @tcra_tanzania wasiache kuzichukulia hatua online Tv kama hao #GeeMedia #Mautamu na makanjanja wengine wanaopotosha umma. Tuna imani na ninyi TCRA, Jeshi la Polisi na mamlaka nyingine. Watu kama hawa wakiachwa, wanachafua taswira nzuri ya vyombo vingine vinavyofanya kazi kwa weledi.,” he added.

The singer noted that he appreciates journalists who report factual matters.
