Yesterday Elani reached out to their fans after more than a year of silence, and what they had to say was more than heartbreaking.
After a year of hard work on their debut album 'Barua Ya Dunia', countless concerts and constant airplay on all media outlets, the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) valued their hard work at a meager Ksh. 31,000.
A fact Elani simply couldn't believe. This left them in serious debt and with no way to pay for it off.
