According to Santana, music creation is all about creativity and coming up with a product that will entertain fans, therefore, for him, it is all about creating the most appealing product for his fans to consume.

“Sometimes I do my songs without relating to anything. For example I may end up using someone's name to project the message I would want to let out but my songs have nothing to do with the people I sing about. I may find something interesting at the moment and I have my catchy verses, I record that and let my people enjoy it,” Santana said.

Santana Karma was once among a group of Ugandan artists who jumped on trending topics to release songs, but he now says that he has matured enough to come up with a unique vibe.

"My mind has grown sharper and no one can ever come up with whatever I sing. I do a lot of music and my brain is now in a different rhythm. I'm not the Santana you knew 3 years ago. I'm focusing on timeless music that will live on for years,” he divulged.
