Miss Kamweru is back in the music scene after a four-year hiatus . She is  formerly one half of the Kenyan top girl group Band BeCa. The girl pop band was known for their hit tracks Brathe , Watch your Mouth , and Kindanindani.

Officially known as Caroline Kamweru, she returns with her debut solo track, "Done." The single was released on Friday 1st November 2024. Done marks a bold new chapter in her music journey, back as a mainstream Afro-pop artiste. 

Done is a song that dives deep into the emotional journey of closure and self-empowerment after a turbulent relationship. The song tells the story of someone making the difficult choice to walk away from a toxic connection, even while wrestling with lingering feelings. Through raw and relatable lyrics, "Done" reflects themes of self-worth, resilience, and emotional release. The powerful chorus serves as a declaration of being “done” with turmoil and embracing peace. The song  resonates with anyone who has faced heartbreak and found the strength to prioritize their own well-being.

In an interview with Anthony Muli, Miss Kamweru talks about the song being from a relationship. The relationship which she termed as toxic lasted for four years. She crafted the song after being done with the relationship . Interestingly, Miss Kamweru revealed that the affair was pushing her to get back to music. Miss Kamweru echoed that the song would help other people heal from their relationship experiences. 

Done runs for 2 minutes 53 minutes blending both Swahili and English . The Afropop song is written by Ywaya Tajiri of Watendawili and Miss Kamweru. The audio is produced by Wuod Omollo and directed by KG Brian.
