Mr Eazi To Drop 'Something Else' EP, Start Recording 'Life Is Eazi Vol 3'

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Mr Eazi will this Friday, February 19, be dropping his highly anticipated new EP titled 'Something Else'.
The release of the new EP will also mark the start for recording of Mr Eazi's mixtape series 'Life Is Eazi Vol 3'.
Mr Eazi who is the the pioneer of Banku music confirmed the upcoming projects in a tweet.

Banku music is a fusion sound that the singer describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.

Life Is Eazi Vol 3 Recording Starts Friday!," Mr Eazi posted on his official Twitter account.
'Something Else' will ber Eazi's second career EP, a follow-up to his debut one - 'One Day You Will Understand' which he released in 2020.

A first single off the EP - 'The Don' was released on January 29.
Produced by Killertunes and E Kelly, 'The Don' is a larger-than-life, opera-flavored afro-trap anthem that offers listeners a first taste of 'Something Else', and a window into Mr Eazi's ever-expanding world.
The single is a follow-up to a busy 2020 for the Nigerian recording artist and African music mogul which saw him expand his emPawa Africa initiative with the launch of the Africa Music Fund, an innovative financial vehicle designed to make capital available to African artists.
Mr Eazi also release successful collaborations with Major Lazer/Nicki Minaj and J Balvin, among others and 'Nobody' - his link-up with emPawa's duo: DJ Neptune and Joeboy.
For the mixtapes, 'Life is Eazi Vol 3' will be Mr Eazi's fourth after 'About to Blow' released in 2013, 'Life is Eazi, Vol. 1' - Accra to Lagos (2017) and 'Life is Eazi, Vol. 2' - Lagos to London released in 2018.
