Guess who’s back? Well Eminem aka Slim Shady is back again this time with a fresh new single, Houdini, from his highly anticipated album "The Death of Slim Shady. Houdini is a well crafted piece of art rich in wordplay and cultural references. The song's foundation is built on an interpolation of the Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra, that is cleverly reworked to create a fresh, modern pop sound. One thing about Eminem is that he doesn’t play when it comes to dropping bars and with Houdini he definitely raps like his life depends on it treating his fans to an auditorial delight of lyricism and let’s not even get started on the wordplay. The accompanying music video elevates the song to greater artistic heights recreating his “Without Me” music video. While embracing a comic book aesthetic, it pits Eminem against a younger version of his alter ego, Slim Shady which could be symbolic representation of the upcoming album’s title. The cherry on top is the cameo appearances by hip-hop heavyweights Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, along with comedian Pete Davidson.
