New Music Kenya: Savara 'Reggae Ya Kinyozi' Remix

Kenyan star artist and member of the Sauti Sol Band Savara has released the remix of his popular song 'Reggae Ya Kinyozi'. The reggae tune is the first solo music project from the songster since the year began. The latest release is a refined version of the original song which was housed in the Savage Level album that was released early last year.

The song's audio falls under the reggae music genre with a little bit of a local touch in the lyricism. Savara through the song addresses various themes such as peace, unity, tolerance, and hard work. The song starts with the chorus before it gradually picks up to the climax.

The audio has been produced by Savara in collaboration with Hendrick Sam, DTX and Mike Manitshana. It further features melodies from Michelle Wanjiru Muriuki. 'Reggae Ya Kinyozi' Remix was written by Savara together with Bien Aime Alusa and Benson Mutua (Bensoul). The music video, on the other hand, is extremely captivating from the cinematic drone shots, to the choice of dress code and location. 

Sauti Sol had taken a break from music as a band to concentrate on building the artists individually. During the almost 2-year break, the members of the band released independent projects. Savara dominated the airwaves courtesy of the 14-track Savage Level music album. The band is expected to release a music album later this year as part of its comeback from the break.
