Drake Features Tems on Certified Lover Boy Album

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems is among artists that are set to feature in Canadian rapper Drake’s new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
The album which will be Drake’s career sixth is scheduled for official release on Friday, September 3, 2021. News about Tems featuring in the album has come following photos of a billboard in Lagos doing rounds on social media announcing that she will be part of the highly anticipated music project.

“Hey Nigeria Tems is on CLB,” read the billboard shared by Charts Africa on their official Twitter handle.
A number of reputable music news platforms have also reported the news sighting several similar billboards announcing some of the other artists that will feature in the album.
In one of the billboards in Atlanta, according to Pitchfork, it announced that Slime, Pluto, Savage, and Baby are also part of the album – in reference to Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, and Lil Baby.
Other singers expected to be part of the ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album, according to some of the billboards quoted by Pitchfork include Jay-Z, Yebba, and rapper Project Pat.
The ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album was initially set to be released in late 2020 but was delayed. Drake would later in October the same year that the album would be released in January 2021, but it was postponed again after the singer suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Its album artwork was made public on August 30.
Tems feature on Drake’s album is a huge milestone and is likely to raise her profile even further globally having already made a name for herself thanks to her feature on Wizkid’s international hit ‘Essence’.
