American rapper, DaBaby has just released his own version of Wizkid’s hit single, Essence which originally features Tems. 

For the remix, DaBaby chooses his own theme and flows on the beat, rapping for about a little over two minutes on the instrumentals.

Only yesterday the rapper took to his Instagram page to ask his fans which remix they wanted to hear, Wizkid’s Essence or Moneybagg Yo’s Wockesha. Apparently, more fans wanted to hear him on Essence and he rightfully obliged that request. 

The new remix has been met with mixed reactions on social media with opinions flying in here and there about the freestyle but DaBaby jumping on Essence Instrumental shows how big of a record it is in the United States.
