The ongoing ‘#FixTheCountry’ Twitter campaign has attracted many celebrities who have aired their thoughts. One such celebrity who has firmly joined the social media campaign for a better Ghana is Kofi Jamar.
The Ghanaian rapper Kofi Jamar Waded into the trend, which was started by a single social media user by the name of Kaly Jay. The single tweet demanding better social services from the government has become a whole movement trending on Twitter for days now. 
 Kofi Jamar joined the campaign by saying that Ghana, being among the first African countries to gain its independence from the colonialists, should be able to set the pace towards development for other countries to follow suit.

"You know Ghana was the first black African country to gain independence, we influenced Nigeria and a host of other black Africans to fight for freedom too. If we get Ghana back in shape, you will see the influence on all other Black African countries," Kofi Jamar tweeted.
The ‘#FixTheCountry’ Twitter campaign that aims to hold the government responsible for development and better living conditions has stirred up tension that has called for the government to call for security alerts across the country.

 Netizens, especially the youth, have taken advantage of the social campaign to air their grievances appealing to the politician to deliver on their promises they made to them during the political campaign.
Twitter users have, however, said out rightly that the #FixTheCountry campaign is not a political movement rather one that purposes at pointing out the critical issues affecting Ghanaian netizens to ensure they are dealt with timely.
