Chidinma Ekile has transitioned from being a singer, to becoming a gospel minister and strictly doing just gospel music.
The MTN Project Fame season 3 winner has now decided to relinquish the music side of her which had her singing, performing and releasing secular music. Now she has chosen to serve God with her voice and talent. Accompanying the change is also a new nickname which the singer now gospel minister proudly flaunts as Mummy G.O.

Chidinma was introduced to the Nigerian music scene after winning the third edition of MTN Project Fame in 2010. She released her popular single “Emi Ni Baller” afterwards and has since been a very well known name in the Nigerian music scene.
She was signed to Capital Hill Records, a deal which was not renewed, leading to her exit from the label in 2016. She also had a brief stint with Flavour’s 2nite Entertainment Records.

To launch her gospel music career, Chidinma has just recently released a new single “Jehovah Overdo” and also signed a contract with Eeezee Concept, the same recording label home to popular gospel music singers, Mercy Chinwo and Judikaay. The label is owned by Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and Nigerian Navy Lieutenant Commander, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu.
