Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Tiwa Savage has announced that she has a new project in the offing.

The singer took to her Instagram account to make the announcement, where she revealed that the project, an EP, is titled 'WaterAndGarri'.

According to the 'Dangerous Love' hit maker, the EP is already complete and set to be released.

Tiwa Savage while making revelations for the project also said American singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams has listened to it and gave it a nod.

She also shared on her Instagram account a short video of her conversation with Pharrell after listening to the EP she described as 'music for the soul'.

It looks like 'WaterAndGarri' EP is done and dusted and only waiting for the release date to be set by Tiwa Savage's record label - Motown.

"Had Pharrell listen to my EP WaterAndGarri I made music for the soul and one of my favs just confirmed it motown records siphodlam I need a date to drop this," Tiwa Savage posted on her Instagram account.

The Instagram post has received wirld reception as her followers asked that she drops it as soon as possible.

'WaterAndGarri' EP will be a follow-up to the 'Celia' album that Tiwa Savage released in 2020.

Officially known as Tiwatope Savage, Tiwa Savage who was born in Isale Eko before relocating to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education has won multiple awards and is ranked among the popular Afrobeats artists.

She began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige.
