Temmie Ovwasa Reveals She Made Out with Girlfriend in Church

Controversial openly queer Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa recently shared a rather unusual story of how she made out with her girlfriend in church.

Writing via her twitter page, Temmie revealed that she accepted an invitation to perform in a location that was a 7 hour journey, she had to accept because she also wanted to use the opportunity to see her girlfriend at the time.

After her performance, she and her girlfriend made out at the back of the church. According to her, she was only 17 when this happened.

“I was 17 when I accepted an invitation to perform in a church in a town that was 6-7hrs away, just so I could see my girlfriend(asuu strike).
The bus broke down in the middle of the road, that didn't faze me. We made out at the back of the church after I performed.
God is Good,” she wrote.

Temmie gets a lot of backlash from her posts on social media and it pretty much seems that she doesn’t care at all. She recently released her debut album “E Be Like Say Dem Swear For Me” an album she tags as Nigeria’s first openly queer album. The project houses 12 tracks with no features.
