Talented singing duo Pleasant and Precious have released a cover song for ‘Never Again’ which is all about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide.

‘Never Again’ is melancholic but exudes greatness in its message. Sadness fills the beginning of the song. You can feel the anguish; pain and regret in the tone and the whole setting with two candles lit in a dark room as Precious and Pleasant don black attires to signify the weight of the genocide.

‘Never Again’ mashup has little of the usual beats one would expect in a song but the guitar comes in handy in creating a sombre mood which is what the song is all about.

The duo said that the song is to remind Rwandans that they all share the pain of losing loved ones during the genocide that happened in 1994.

“Hello Our lovely people, in these times where we commemorate the 1994 Genocide against the Tustis, we stand with all Rwandans that have suffered such a tremendous loss and we pray that God comforts you all through these songs. Much love!” the duo said.

The Rwandan 1994 genocide left 800,000 people dead and scores maimed. Many children were left with no families to raise them after the death of their parents and relatives.
