Lava Lava Reveals How he Almost Quit Music Due to Witchcraft

Wasafi records’ musician Lava Lava has come out to explain how he almost quit music early this year due to what he alleged to be witchcraft.

In a detailed Instagram post, Lava Lava stated that many things were happening in his life and he could not explain the events.

The singer noted that after meeting Singeli singer Meja Kunta, he realized that they both were facing the same things that motivated them to hit the studio and produce their hit song ‘Wanga’ (witchcraft).

“Mwanzoni wa huu mwaka wa 2020 kwa upande wangu haukuwa mzuri sana yani kunamazingira nilikuwa napitia kibinadamu mpaka nikahisi sio kawaida najua wengi watakuwa wamenielewa nini namaanisha kiufupi nilikuwa namawazo sana mpaka kufikia wakati nilitamani kabisa niache hata mziki wenyewe ndipo nilikutana na mdogo wangu @mejakunta_ kwamara yakwanza nakutana nae pia alikuwa anamawazo sana,” said Lava Lava.

He noted that while hitting the studio, they did not have an idea on what type of song they should produce as they were from two different genres.

However, they resolved to do a Singeli song within one day. Interestingly, the song has performed well across the region to remain as one of Lava Lava’s top projects for 2020.

He made the revelations after having one of the toughest years in his career. Notably, Lava Lava has been silent for a while but he has shown some resurgence towards the end of this year.
