Gemma Griffiths is one Zimbabwe’s finest musicians thanks to her amazing vocals and creativity.

Gemma is a talented soul who got into music not for money but to satisfy her inner zeal to do music.

When she finally decided to pursue music as a career, she started off by doing covers for many of the songs that she loved and before long, she has honed her skill and now went into a solo music career.

In a past interview with Chronicles, she said that she finds musical thrill in doing renditions of songs by other artistes and gives them a twist.

“I have always loved taking a piece of music and putting a twist on it, making it acoustic, or adding my own stamp on it. It’s such a fun process and it just sort of happened,” she said.

Gemma describes her family as musical and she may have inherited this gift from them.

“I was always singing. My whole family is musical and it was always just a part of me. It felt natural.”
