Winky D is a musical powerhouse on his own and he has for more than a decade enjoyed the glory of being one of the best zimdancehall star in Zimbabwe.
In 2019, he did a collabo with Gemma Griffiths dubbed ‘MuGarden’ which elevated his status in the industry.
Gemma, a household name when it comes to RnB and soft-cultured music did an amazing collabo with Winky D. ‘MuGarden’ brought about a spectacle with its special blended beats as well as a nature green video shot in some jungle-like setting in South Africa.

Like the Biblical Garden of Eve, she is dressed this way while Winky D assumes the role of ‘Adam’ while nature coats it all. Her Shona language prowess despite being born White startled many people, most of who are part of the 5.2 million viewers of the song.

Pundits in Zimbabwe argued that it is this jam with Gema Griffiths that redefined Winky D especially in terms of video quality.

Gemma confessed that it was never a plan to do a collabo with Winky but they had a conversation about it and before long, they found themselves in the studio recording it.
She described Winky as a “great artiste to work with”.
