Asake has really outdone himself with Lungu Boy’s production getting as experimental as he can be. My Heart emerges as a dazzling fusion of cultures, seamlessly blending the passionate rhythms of Flamenco with the pulsating energy of contemporary African sound. Delicate strings pluck at the heartstrings, setting a romantic scene that's both familiar and exotic. It's in this dreamy haze that Asake makes his entrance, his voice a perfect match for the track's Latin-inspired cadence. Just as you think you've got the song figured out, it throws a curveball with a female vocalist taking center stage with a hook that's nothing short of mesmerizing. Her delivery is a linguistic illusion with English lyrics cloaked in Spanish intonations.
