Konde Boy aka Harmonize has just dropped a new album titled Visit Bongo and honestly it’s his consistency for us. The artist has been dropping albums every year since 2020 and we can confirm that they are never a miss as he has never shied away from showcasing his amazing talent when it comes to music. Visit Bongo, his latest studio album has 14 songs with 2 features from Bruce Melodie and Nkosazana Daughter. The album starts off on a mid tempo note with the first song, Personal Trainer, a captivating tune that incorporates some Maasai chants giving the African feel and intriguing the listener. Songs on Visit Bongo are mostly of the bongo flava genre as the listener gets to experience more of the Swahili sound as well as some Amapibongo tracks such as Sijalewa, Boss, Wangu mimi and Single Again both the Remix and the original version. Generally the album has a chill vibe to it exploring themes of love and relationships with amazing production and a great flow as the tracks are organized in a way that enhances the listener’s experience making it very enjoyable. Stand out tracks for me would be Best Woman, Sijalewa and Sijui but even with that I’d still say the whole album is a great listen and I highly recommend if you’d like to enjoy some good music.
