Speaking during a radio interview in Tanzania Madee stated that the reason for including the channel O award winners on his remix is based on the success of the single in Kenya,
“Ile ngoma ilitembea vizuri kule Kenya Yaani Nairobi imefanya vizuri jamaa wameiskia wakamtafuta AY naye akawadirect kwangu tukaongea kwamba wanataka kufanya collabo na mimi”.
He further went on to add “ukifanya collabo na watu kama P-Unit ambao tayari wameshatanua Mziki wao East Afrika kila mtu atataka kusikiliza huyu wimbo ,na watu watataka kuangalia huyu Madee na P-Unit wamefanya nini ,unajua mimi nimeshika sana TZ ,Kenya bado sio mzuri sana lakini nikifanya wimbo na hawa jamaa basi Kila mkenya atataka kuskia nimefanya nini na kunisikiliza”.
