Prince Indah's New Album 'Puonj Mag Dak' Records Huge Success Days After Release

Celebrated Benga musician Prince Indah has recorded a huge milestone in his music career courtesy of the recently released 'Puonj Mag Dak' album. The 11-track music project has seen Prince Indah dominate trending music charts with multiple songs. Barely a week after the release of the album, the majority of the songs have not only dominated the airwaves but also ranked among the most trending Kenyan songs. Prince Indah has additionally been ranked as the 7th most streamed East African artist on YouTube in April.

Three tracks from the album have conspicuously stood out in terms of performance and virality. The three; 'Osiepe', 'Duk Jawiro', and 'Mummy Chulo' have gained thousands of hundreds of views on various music hosting platforms. On YouTube for instance, 'Osiepe' ranks as the 3rd most trending Kenyan song, with 'Duk Jawiro', and 'Mummy Chulo' coming in 4th and 5th respectively.

'Duk Jawiro' has further taken over TikTok earning more than 35,000 video challenges. The song currently ranks among the most used sound on the platform and is one of the few Kenyan songs to have gained such a number of challenges within a few days. Content creators have already created a choreography for the song despite the fact that its video is yet to be released. The choreography has won the hearts of many and gotten many TikTokers dancing to the song.

The above-stated three songs are the highest viewed and streamed songs on the album. The other remaining songs on the album have also performed extremely well considering the fact the all of them have been released in MP3 format.

Prince Indah through a statement that he shared with his fans expressed gratitude for the support and love that the album has been shown. He reflected on his journey in the music industry and how such an achievement meant a lot to him as an artist.

"We started this journey 6 years ago with a slogan; GARI OSEWUOK(translated as 'the vehicle has taken off'). My gratitude goes to ardent fans who have always walked with me all the way. We are continuing to break boundaries and set records of history," Prince Indah wrote.
