Ghana’s rap sensation Black Sherif has just unlocked arguably the most anticipated Ghana rap album of the year 2022, his debut, “The Villain I Never Was” album. 

The project which has been in the works for a while houses 14 tracks with about 41 minutes of listening time. Previous releases “Kwaku The Traveller” and “Second Sermon Remix” featuring Burna Boy make the cut with the latter being the only track with a featured artist.

Speaking via a statement on his official Instagram a few days prior to the album release, Black Sherif says the new album took him everything, he reveals he gave up everything going on in his life to be able to breathe life into the album. 

“It took me everything to give life to this body. The one thing in my life that I gave everything up for. There is life in this body, I hope it treats you good and speaks to you like I want it to,” excerpts of the caption reads.
