Porto and Sporting Lisbon meet in the second leg of their Taca de Portugal semi-final contest on Thursday, in what will be their fourth meeting across all competitions this season.

Sergio Conceicao's men will be trying to pick up where they left off in the reverse leg, which took place at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in March. They are after an 18th cup title.

Porto put on a show worthy of champions last Saturday when they cruised to an emphatic 7-0 victory over Portimonense.

Conceicao's team have won each of their past four games, scoring 12 goals and keeping four clean sheets, and they have gone undefeated in their last six games in all competitions, dating back to a 1-0 setback to Lyon in the first leg of their Europa League contest in March.

Porto may dream of a domestic double after a similarly excellent run in the Taca de Portugal, as they just need one win from their next four games to win the Primeira Liga.

Sporting Lisbon, on the other hand, suffered a major setback to their already precarious title hopes when they were defeated 2-0 at home by Benfica in the Primeira Liga last weekend.

Ruben Amorim will now urge his team to clean the dust from their shoes before moving on to the Taca de Portugal.

Sporting Lisbon is also chasing a 19th cup trophy, but first, they must overcome a first-leg deficit against a team they have not beaten in any of their last four efforts since a 2-1 triumph in the Taca da Liga final last season.

Porto enters the game with a crucial first-leg advantage, but they must avoid complacency as they face a Sporting Lisbon side trying to rebound from their defeat to Benfica.

Betting on this game to end in a draw comes at a very good 3.50 odd.
