“I get shocked at some artists who say most Zambian DJ’s (radio) don’t support Zambian music I’m tired of this old and grey talk,” she stated.

The radio host castigated these artists saying that they take up to two years before honouring invitation to the studio, yet they blame the stations for failing to promote them.

“Most of you artists just for you to pull up for an interview we have to start inviting you 2 years before! Help us to help you to. We have countless radio shows with countdown of Zambian music what level of support do y’all require kashi?? Gratitude is a must!” she added.

Last year, Ethy urged artists to produce clean content, arguing that it has a higher probability of performing well and staying around for long as compared to dirty content.

She said it beats logic when an artist with ‘dirty’ lyrics pushes his/her song for airplay in the media. Paige emphasized that it is possible to do good music without insults or dirty lyrics as has been seen with some artists in the past.
