DJ Mzengaman Offers to Produce Muzo Alphonso an Album for Free

The musical wit behind the name Muzo Aka Alphonso is something to be admired and DJ Mzengaman is so blown away that he has offered to produce him an album for free.

DJ Mzengaman, a renowned Zambian producer said he enjoys spending time with Muzo in the studio. He talked about the great music chemistry they share as a driving force.

“I h ave always shared a great chemistry with Muzo Aka Alphonso in the studio. Its always fruitful,” stated Mzengaman adding “More than willing to do a whole proper album for him typically free. (At no cost).”

Mzengaman appealed to other Zambian music players to come through for Muzo by offering him accommodation and transport for, at least, one month while working on the new album.

Sometime in July last year, Muzo suffered from mental illness and was living in the streets. He was rescued by a good Samaritan and received necessary help. His recovery is good as he featured in several hits thereafter including KB Killa Beats’ ‘My Diary 11’.

His verse in ‘My Diary 11’ elicited debate with some fans claiming that they did nt get the message.  Responding to the fans, Muzo said all those who listen to his music should have a ‘mature enough’ brain to unwrap contents of his music.

“Make sure your brain is mature enough to understand my music or else you will forever never know what I talk about. Akapondo mumadango,” he wrote on Facebook.

In one of his lines, for example, Muzo says “kuli bonse efyo ndomba menshi [what I ask for from everyone is water]. The interpretation behind this is that he doesn't ask for too much from anyone. But something as little as water - which is figurative for love - is all he needs because everyone can offer it.
