Chef 187 Shares Inspiration Behind His ‘Love You’ Classic Hit

In 2010, Chef 187 released a song titled ‘Love You’ and it is today considered to be one of the best songs he has released in the last ten years. When the song was first played, it received a tremendous amount of airplay, and many people continue to play it in the streets as if it were just released.

A large number of people can relate to the song. ‘Love You’ was about a man who was expecting a child from his wife and it was a show of gratitude for it all. However, as fate would have it, the baby did not make it.

The kid was lost at birth. Since then, a majority of his fans said that the song was based on a true story that happened to him. Although it was a true story, Chef 187 says that all this happened to his close friend and it inspired him to come up with the song.

Meanwhile, Chef 187, started the year 2022 with a banger titled ‘Husband Material’ featuring D Bwoy Telem and T Low.

The new hit is just one of the many songs to come from the Zambian hip-hop behemoth. Chef is expected to release a long list of bangers in 2022. In the new hit, he celebrates a unique kind of love where he appreciates his lover with gifts and presents.
