South Africa’s K.O to Release New ‘Skhanda Republic 3’ Album in 2022

South African musician K.O has announced that he is planning to release a new album dubbed ‘Skhanda Republic 3’.

In a statement on his Twitter page, K.O teased the project but did not give a specific date for the album's launch.

“Skhanda Republic part 3 SR3 2022,” wrote K.O,” he tweeted.

He added that the delay in releasing the project came as a result of COVID-19 pandemic but, he is upbeat that things will be okay this year.

“Delayed the album cos of Covid, can’t put it out if I can’t tour it. Watch what we do this year,” he added.

‘Skhanda Republic 3’ will be the third album off the ‘Skhanda’ series. His previous album ‘Skhanda Republic 2' was massive project and did really well across the country.

The album featured top South African artists namely; Shekhinah, Runtown and Black Coffee.

As far as new music is concerned, the ‘Skhanda Love’ hit maker says he intends to keep every promise he has made in the past. With the news, rapper K.O is already setting the SA hip-hop mood for the year.

The big question remains, will SA hip hop reclaim its crown in the music industry this year? Well, with artists like K.O and Emtee promising hip-hop projects for the year, the future looks bright.
