After having a breakout in 2021 Buju has announced that he will be dropping another music project on his birthday.

The Outside singer made the announcement in a post shared on his verified Twitter handle. "I’m dropping another project on my birthday," the tweet read.

Buju turns 25 on the 19th of May and this is the day fans are already anticipating the release of the project which might just be Buju's debut album or his sophomore EP. 

In 2021, Buju dropped his debut Extended Play (EP) titled 'Sorry I'm Late' which has since performed well on multiple digital music platforms. The EP which houses 7 tracks amassed over 40 million streams in under two months of release.

The 24-year-old Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and record producer had a largely successful 2021, featuring on Wizkid's Grammy-nominated album 'Made In Lagos (Deluxe)' and one of the biggest singles of the year, 'Feeling' by rapper Ladipoe.

He also performed for the first time at the iconic London O2 Arena during WizKid's Made in Lagos Tour. A few weeks ago, Buju hinted that he was in the studio recording with Kizz Daniel, and it's probably one of the songs in the upcoming project.
