Makhadzi's desire of performing her one-woman show at a stadium has long been a reality, and she is about to make it come true. She has moved to Instagram to express her gratitude for the support she has received from Botswana as she prepares for her first one-woman performance, which will take place later this month.
There is a countdown underway, and the excitement coming from Botswana has warmed the heart of the ‘Ghanama’ hit maker. When announcing about the concert in the neighboring Botswana, she pledged that she would give out 10% of the total earning to charity in the same country.
Since then, several articles produced by local newspapers in the country were shared by the singer, and one of the stories compared what she is about to do in Botswana to the rapper Cassper Nyovest's infamous fill ups.
“Every day is a new day in Botswana. One-woman show on March 26. It's my big day and we are doing it in style. I can't wait for this one. It has been my dream to host in a stadium and you didn’t hesitate to give me full support and love .I also love how Botswana media is behind this show without any hate but love,” she wrote on Instagram.
The Limpopo-born performer has been making gains in her music career, and the year 2021 proved to be a fruitful one for her as she continued to wow audiences across the continent with her spellbinding and thrilling performances.
She even received her first Afrima award for her efforts. Currently, Makhadzi is hard at work on new music, and she has been teasing her fans with excerpts of her upcoming tune ‘Kulakwe’, which will feature Master KG.
