Shakira Shakiraa Addresses Reports She’s Joined Jeff Kiiwa’s Team No Sleep

Ugandan artist Shakira Shakiraa has dismissed claims that she’s ditched Black Market Records after linking up with Team No Sleep's boss Jeff Kiiwa.

Reports have been circulating on social media claiming that Jeff Kiiwa had a bitter split with Sheebah Karungi and that he is currently scouting for replacements.

The reports further allege that Jeff has already signed 17 year old Rahmah Pinky and that Shakira Shakiraa was next on the list of potential signees.

Speaking during an interview with BBS TV, Shakira Shakiraa dismissed claims of joining Jeff’s label, noting that they are friends and are also currently working on a number of projects, thus the reason why people see them together.

"Jeff is my friend and he is a good person who wishes you well when you connect. We have a project we are working on together and he has written for me a number of songs. Everyone would love to work with him if given the chance," Shakira Shakiraa revealed.

Currently, Shakira Shakiraa's music is handled by Black Market Records who are in charge of publishing and marketing.
